I don´t know if I am ready..."

What
is the antibodies anti-HIV test?
This
is an analytic test
in order to know if someone has been infected
with the human immune deficiency virus (HIV).
This blood test should be done three months
after your last risky practice.
|
|
Why
to do it?
Unknowing
it doesn´t help to you.
Knowing if you are positive or not wil be useful
in order to make important decisions for your health.
The decision of testing is only yours,
no one can take it for you.
Think about it, find the moment
when you feel yourself emotionally and personally ready for face
to any result. |
 |
And
what about a negative result?
It
menas that you are not infected till the moment the test was done.
But it doesn´t mean that you are immune to HIV.
In order to keep being "negative",
have always safe sex.
. |
|
And
what about a positve result?
It
may be the time for reflecting, calmly, on whether you need emotional
support.
If you want to know something else about your health, about different
treatments -what they are, when and how begin to take them- or you
want information about where you can go for sharing it and finding
support...
